To discover “what works” to foster compliance with life-saving recommendations through a rapid approach to communications and behavioral research.
To gather and develop persuasive, effective, targeted messages which convey accurate recommendations related to physical distancing and related behaviors.
To distribute messages through appropriate channels, emphasizing social media, but also developing other kinds of educational tools where appropriate.
To use a rapid research to practice approach that includes iterative real-time learning among researchers, communicators and community leaders.

Who Are We?
Do Your Part is a partnership of the League of Wisconsin Municipalities, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Wisconsin Agri-Business Association, and the Madison & Dane County Public Health Departments. UW-Madison representatives come from Psychology, Life Sciences Communication, Population Health, Civil Society and Community Studies, Data Science, Education, UniverCity Alliance, Global Health Institute, Mogridge Center for Public Service, the School of Nursing, Economics, Geography, 4W (Women and Well-being in Wisconsin and the World), Extension, University Relations, and the Nelson Institute.
